Builder Highlight

Clark WhitehillBy building this year’s Scholarship House, Clark Whitehill Enterprises is continuing a long family tradition of commitment to the Scholarship Foundation. Since its humble beginnings, the Scholarship Foundation has grown to become an annual tradition as an industry sponsored charity and the third largest scholarship fund in the state. The partners at Clark Whitehill have built two Scholarship homes – the inaugural TBA Scholarship House in 1966 and again in 1990.

Clark Whitehill, who has more than 200 years of combined home building expertise, has been an industry leader within the multifamily community as well. The partners were instrumental in the founding of the Tidewater Multifamily Housing Council. In 2004, they helped to establish and fund the first Tidewater Multifamily Housing Scholarship Apartment.

Today, Clark Whitehill locally owns and manages more than 1,400 rental homes in the Hampton Roads. For Clark Whitehill, building a solid foundation begins in their community, both home building and multifamily.
